Extends Commercial Real Estate Exchange Contract with Catylist
Inc. Through 2012
Knoxville Area Association of REALTORS(R) (KAAR) renewed
a multi-year contract with Chicago-based Catylist Inc. Catylist,
whose marketing and property-centric commercial information
exchange service is in use throughout the country, provides
the platform for the Commercial Investment Division of KAAR.
The KAAR CIE, http://www.kaarcie.com, connects commercial
professionals, owners, tenants and investors looking to buy,
sell, and lease properties in the Knoxville market area.
According to Helen Carter, Knoxville Area Association of
REALTORS(R) executive vice president, "The Knoxville

The online database recently received a major upgrade with
the implementation of a next-generation, scenario-based search
interface. The system allows users to refine their search
by adding/removing a multitude of real-time filters. The instantaneous
search results provide users with a more efficient means of
quickly identifying properties that match their specific criteria.
Advanced mapping and aerial tools incorporate varying perspectives.
In addition, all listings contain basic demographic data.
Full-access members of the KAAR CIE have access to comprehensive

area served.

marketing system with the ability to simultaneously market
properties on over 40 websites, promote themselves, create
high-end marketing presentations, communicate with local and
national commercial professionals, and access a variety of
integrated marketing tools on the member-only side of the
website.
In addition to offering unprecedented local marketing exposure
for brokers and their clients, listings and professional profiles
are also accessible at the Catylist National Commercial Marketplace,
Commercial IQ (http://www.commercialiq.com). This website
aggregates thousands of commercial listings from across the
country. For maximum listing exposure, KAAR CIE members have
the option to send their listings via Catylist's unique distribution
channels to Google Base, Yahoo, Vast, Lycos/Oodle, Southeast
Real Estate Business, and more, without ever re-entering data.
