Letter From Tina

Dear Friends,

This week, you've probably noticed that my letter to you consists of all words instead of words and a picture or two. That's because I wanted to let our writers tell you about some of the behind-the-scenes work they do for each issue. So now, when you read the sections, you'll be able to learn a bit more about MyStateTENNESSEE. Soon, Political Commentary by Courtney Piper introduces an exciting new online political forum that I hope you will enjoy. Let me know if there are any specific subjects you'd like our writers to cover.

Those of you who have been visiting MyStateTENNESSEE.com realize how we expand each issue by providing great additional content online. Good examples of this are the wonderful coverage of travel around the great state Tennessee.

Thinking about the cool fall weather has inspired our Travel writers to explore some special escapes that are not far from home starting this issue. (Yes, we are sensitives to those darn gas prices too.)

Of Course, no fall issue would be complete without special stories about happenings in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. The fall brings the change in colors and MystateTENNESSEE is on top of it like no other publication.

Finally, please remember that we at MyStateTENNESSEE are just as concerned about rising prices as you are, and our goal is to present great ideas that will not increase your average cost per event over last year's. We think this is important to you and that it's one of the things you expect from our publication.

Thanks for reading.

Best Regards,

Tina Wesson,

Editor -in- Chief
